We always meet with the pets and pet owners prior to care just so that they can get used to us. We know that being with strangers can sometimes be upsetting to them, so the idea is to not be a stranger. Pets that are cared for in their own homes are much happier than ones that are taken to a boarding type environment. Small animals such as cats, fish, birds, hamsters, turtles and lizards that only need to be cared for once a day get a 30 minute per day appointment. Cat & Small Animal Care rates start at $20 per day. During that appointment they get fed and watered, litter boxes or cages cleaned and then the rest is play time and snuggle time. If your pet's not the snuggly kind that's ok, we'll just sit and talk to them so that they don't feel lonely.

Dogs which require more care, get a much longer visit. If you are just going away for the day, then they will get however many 30 minute visits are needed. If you're going for more than a day, then we recommend the overnight care. Overnight care rates start at $70 per day. This is great for them because they're never alone while you're gone. We arrive near the time that you are leaving, and remain there in your home until you return. That way they get fed their normal times, they get unlimited walks or potty breaks, and lots of snuggling and play time while you're away. You come home to happy, healthy, well cared for pets. We'll even water your plants or bring in your mail & newspapers if needed. 

No matter what kind of pet you have, you'll get a report card upon your return to let you know how they did while you were away. Their well being and happiness is of the utmost importance to us and we treat them just like we do our own babies.
